How your data is processed

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Fl 2, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, acting as a processor under a data processing agreement.

When you visit these pages, your browser transmits technical data that Netlify processes in server logs, including your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page, and details of your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in operating a functioning and secure website. Netlify determines how long these logs are kept; they are deleted once they are no longer needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. Further details are set out in Netlify’s Privacy Statement.

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and embeds no third-party tracking.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the email address, message, and any optional details you provide are processed in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where the enquiry concerns the Groceries app, in diagnosing the problem reported. Providing this data is not required by law or contract, but without it your enquiry cannot be answered.

Submissions are received and stored by Netlify acting as a processor.

Submissions are not used for advertising or marketing. They are deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with and no follow-up is expected, unless a legal retention obligation applies.

Transfers outside the EU

Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States, so the processing described above involves a transfer of personal data to a third country. Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision.

Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR takes place.
